Samburu National Reserve

Samburu, located in northern Kenya, offers a unique safari experience with animals rarely found in other parks. It is home to the Samburu Special Five: Grevy’s zebra, reticulated giraffe, Somali ostrich, beisa oryx, and gerenuk. The Ewaso Nyiro River attracts elephants, lions, leopards, and crocodiles, providing excellent game viewing opportunities. The reserve is also rich in Samburu culture, allowing visitors to interact with the local Samburu people, known for their colorful attire and traditional way of life. Samburu’s semi-arid landscape and rugged terrain create a breathtaking backdrop for wildlife photography.
